Following a number of successful deal announcements in recent months, North-east commercial property developer Knight Property Group have secured a commission from Denholm Oilfield Services for the lease of a purpose-built industrial development at Minto Commercial Park in Altens, Aberdeen.

Set on a 1.76 acre site, Denholm Oilfield Services are to have 5,500 sq ft of offices, 17,997 sq ft of workshop space, and an 18,937 sq ft yard.

This development will be leased on a 15 year term. Construction will commence during December 2008 with occupation scheduled for July 2009.

Knight Property Group and Denholm Oilfield Services originally concluded a deal for site three at Minto Commercial Park in January 2008. This second announcement in respect of the larger site seven is necessitated by Denholm's significant expansion brought by organic growth and the recent acquisition of specialist valve management and refurbishment company Valvecare Engineering.

Denholm Oilfield Services are joined by corrosion specialist iicorr, air conditioning supplier Active Sustainable Energy Systems, and storage and interiors firm Modul8 at Minto Commercial Park, which extends to 11 acres of commercial land with over half of the park currently under development. On completion, the site will house a total of eight units - a combination of both speculative and bespoke developments.
